I wrote a while ago that I had finished my film She He It , things got off to a good start when I started the Film festival run, currently it has been in about 20 film festivals with 9 awards, 6 honourable mentions and 5 semi finalist positions. I have just finished the website for the film and bought the domain name Documentaryfilm.co.uk

The project started in the Lockdown was completed 5th May 2022. The film features and interview with Philip Salon, the French Artist Thierry Alexandre a man who collects Barbies and a transgender Woman called Sapphire. The film has been entered into a number of prestigious film festivals in the UK including Bolton, Encounters. Raindance, Asthetica , and the Iris Prize. The film looks to explore the ideas around gender and society and features a cameo by the Actress Roberta Gotti from the Angelina Jolie film Hackers. The director Tony Hickson who also made the documentary Dogboy said “I’m very hopeful for this film it has already been accepted into the Black Panther film festival in India.

The 22 min documentary film Dogboy I made some time 2017 has got its first festival screening at The San Mauro film festival in Turin Italy. The film looks at the phenomenon of human puppies and pupp play.

Controversial play Children of the cleaved forest by Tony Hickson  is set for it’s UK premiere at the Bread and Roses Theatre Clapham. 12th March till Tue 14th March.The play focuses on a school girl gang with extreme violence, animal cruelty, murder, torture, knife crime, shoplifting, bullying, underage drinking, arson and tramp bashing. The play takes place in London set against a rising back drop of youth violence.

Hello there culture fans, just a quick news update I finished my short film Dogboy before Christmas. I have only just started promoting it now as I have been full of cold.i managed to submit it to the BFI Flare film festival before the deadline ran out. I had a good talk with Made TV and have already submitted it to 20 film festivals , with 20 more on my list.
